Please join us if you can. We start at 3:00 or so and finish before 5:00.

If you have tools (kneeling pad, weeding tools, secateurs, rake, gardening gloves, etc.), please bring them.

Work party tomorrow (July 17) in the Greenway at 3:00

Hi Brit Neighbours,
Hope you're able to come out tomorrow, Monday, at 3:00 for another exciting work party in the Greenway. I'll take some leaf bags.
If you have tools (trowel, kneeling pad, rake, secatekurs, etc.), do bring them.
If you have any ladybugs, bring those too. There are lots of aphids in the oaks and the Greenway is getting sticky. I always forget that this is the sticky season. Maybe we should buy some ladybugs.
Thanks to thorough watering by Patrick and Rummen, all our plants seem to be surviving this dry stretch quite well. So good.

Work party in the Greenway tomorrow (Monday), 3:00

Hi Brit Neighbours,
As usual, we'll have a work party in the Greenway tomorrow, 3:00-5:00. Please join us if you can.
There will be a bit of clean-up after Car-Free Commercial Drive, which happened today. I hope there isn't too much damage. I checked things out at around 1:00 and asked a few of the participants to remove their gear from the garden beds. Most were gracious. One woman argued with me. Shrug.
Patrick will be watering tomorrow. Not sure what time.
